Stray Kids' 2025 Plans: The Ultimate Guide to Making History

Posted by Felix Lee on

With their audacious declaration that "A new chapter begins," Stray Kids set the tone for 2025 and may end up rewriting the course of musical history.
The world-dominant boy band unveiled their annual roadmap full of big career moves that almost guarantee to set new records among K-pop artists and beyond, as revealed through their annual "STEP OUT" video that provides an overview of the year's plans.

The dominATE world tour, which was announced and launched in 2024, has already shown itself to be Stray Kids' most ambitious live journey to date. The tour's U.S. leg is set to become the biggest stadium ever run by a K-pop act, with dates announced for 2025 in Asia, the Americas, and Europe.

In May and June 2025, Stray Kids will perform in 16 stadiums across the United States, including major cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City. Mexico City, Toronto, and Amsterdam are among the other international stadium performances. After the tour is over, Stray Kids' dominating adventure will outperform BLACKPINK's Born Pink World Tour and the BTS' Permission to Dance on Stage Tour.

Two Albums by Stray Kids, One Chance to Break Records
Stray Kids are planning to release two albums in 2025 and may even rewrite Billboard chart history, despite having a busy tour schedule for the first half of the year.

The group will probably become the K-pop artist with the most Number One albums in the United States if either album reaches No. 1 on the Billboard 200. With six chart-topping songs from their most recent album, HOP, released in December, Stray Kids tied BTS for the most chart-topping Korean artists title.

Stray Kids would continue their historic run as the only artist to debut their first seven and eighth eligible albums at the top of the Billboard 200 chart if they were to achieve a seventh or even an eighth Number One album.

Despite their past struggles, Stray Kids are still dedicated to keeping in touch with their fans via digital media.

Stray Kids' signature content, which consistently highlights the group's honesty, reflection, and moving storytelling, was featured in this year's "STEP OUT" video. The band spent last year filming digital series like One Kid's Room and 2 Kids Show, which focused on the close and genuine relationships the members want to build with their fans. Fans can anticipate that the guys will share their entertaining, fun, and personal sides with them, among other new aspects, whether they return with these formats or start a new series.

Following successful pop-up stores and themed merchandise events in 2024, Stray Kids' endearing SKZOO characters will resume their appearances through 2025. The SKZOO brand, which appeals to fans of all ages by fusing creativity and playfulness, has come to represent Stray Kids.

Stray Kids can push the boundaries of K-pop in 2025 with a jam-packed schedule of stadium performances, fan gatherings, and undoubtedly groundbreaking music releases. However, the group never forgets to engage with fans and provide regular content to fortify the artist-fan relationship, even as they aim higher than before. "Stray kids everywhere all around the world, you make Stray Kids stay," is SKZ's signature line.
